Had to do that recently Jen, you just have to be ruthless with books!
There are really some weird people around…being wealthy doesn’t stop this lady’s ignorance, grrrrrrrrrrr!
Enjoy your day LGFB
!
Tennis, girls it’s back, strawberries and cream ready in shed that is due a makeover courtesy of Kay!
Paint, crayons, paper, sellotape, scissors, no glitter, shoe prep under way, skateboarding over to the “childhood” bench shortly.
PS Soooooooo envious of your sunshine xx
Shoes made woo hoo, only taken about 2 hours
!!
Ideas for the MMU, perhaps??? xx
Very impressive, Katy. Just wondering, are you free for flushing practice next Tuesday? Will be in ‘half way town’ for work (well sabbatical study) and could meet up if you fancy it?
Speaking of flushes mine are extra evil at the moment - no idea why, no changes in diet or drugs… maybe my real hormones are up to something?! Also wondering if the dreaded Lynn might be moving in as ‘at risk’ arm is feeling tighter and I think is bigger than ‘good’ arm
Will see if it settles (was using it a lot last week) but if not will ring BCN and get referred. Blurry eye still blurry and still waiting for referral to come through. Nipplet looking better every day - nearly all the dead skin has sloughed off now; trimmed stitch tails down a bit to avoid velcro effect. Hope Eminent PS is happy when she sees it in three weeks time!
Seems odd not being in normal work pattern, but nice kind of odd!
Sun shining in Glasgow… yes our schools are off but they return in mid-August so it kind of evens out. If memory serves the first of the English school will close this week (East Mids) but some in NW not until third or even fourth week.
LOVE the shoes!!
But where atre the flashing lights? Lol. I must get on with my work now. Tennis later, after this looooong day, staff meeting after and shopping (strawberries!) on the way home.
Hi all, please see proposed redesign for Lost plottery shed. Note comfortable chairs for visitors to ponder over where their marbles might be. Intend to put in a tea tray with cups for mugateas and mugalattes to help in the pondering process. Small fridge to hold provisions of lemon and chocolate cakes, strawberries and cream, and raspberries of course!
What do you think?
SMALL fridge??? Get real?!! ![]()
A TARDIS fridge of course - small on the outside HUGE on the inside. Love it! Great colour scheme too, Kay, love the way you have toned in all the different shades. Locating the fridge between the transmat beam and the spoon dispenser - genius!
Tardis fridge, excellent idea! With some coconut yoghurt in please ![]()
Having one of those days at work, if it can go wrong it will… And if it shouldn’t, it still does. Also got mammogram this afternoon, it’s a good job they don’t check your blood pressure for that because I’d fail. Spectacularly. ![]()
Was toying wih Glitterberry juice (aka Prosecco) cooler as well. Will depend on space!
of course Tardis fridge, is there any other kind in Benchland?
transmat beam is cleverly disguised as cat flap on the right of the door
better paint our shed white again before OH notices…
Tardis fridge, brilliant idea won’t need cooler as fridge is soooooooooo big!
GD dispensed back to Mum, taking shoes to show Daddy who is very creative. GD loved them! Cookie making tomorrow, cannot copy and paste from my pictures, drives me crazy so you are not getting the full effect of the dazzling shoes, cookie pic to follow…
RevCat op is looming therefore will not be able to meet up
, flush for me in my absence at least you know which direction to go in for “tasty” food now! Would contact BCN asap about arm, I was lucky and was seen as an urgent, in my area there is a waiting list, so the sooner the better. Enjoy your sabbatical!
Fingers crossed Ali for great results.
Still have the gale force winds here and no sunshine, mmmmmmmmmmmm xx
PS Can’t see your pic Kay
!
Mammo done. Shattered now! What to cook for tea, hmm…
Great shoes, Katy. Done the course, wasn’t quite as boring as I thought it might be but very easy. The instructor kept reading out practice questions from what he SAID were past test papers. Gave us all the answers. Then, lo and behold, every single question was on OUR test paper. I think I might have passed
. Find out in three weeks. Tea and doughnuts were provided for our break and we were out of there 1/2 hour earlier than stated. Not a bad way to earn overtime!!
Back on the Wimbledon bench - Go Andy - I don’t think he’ll win but I hope I’m wrong!! Can’t face anymore strawberries, please pass me a banana.
Fingers and toes crossed for results Ali - hope it wasn’t too painful.
Love e newly revamped lost plottery shed! Slipped on some stray marbles though (sadly, they weren’t mine). I think I lost the plot of what ou’re going to do with your sabbatical, Cat. Other than come to Morecombe!
VERY impressed with the shoes!!
well done Murray! I got home in time to see the end of 2nd set onwards :). Must be depressing having to play jock o’vich…
sorry, I’ve wandered back to the tennis bench…
xx J
Each time I load the bleeping picture it disappears!
grrrrrrrr…
Oooh tardis fridge, so presumably it’s big enough inside, despite the small fridge exterior, to actually WALK into when the hot flushes strike?? Loving that! Cool down nicely and grab a calorie-free snack or three at the same time. ![]()
Well done Lisicki. I’ve enjoyed the view from the tennis bench, tonight, of Serena being made to stagger around the court like an inebriated moose!!
Hope your mammo wasn’t too painful, Ali, (my eyes still water at the memory of mine!) and that your results come back “NORMAL” too.
An inebriated moose? LOL. And jock o’vich is Scots???
A bit squishy, but not too bad. Was looked after by a no-nonsense sort of lady, she just woman-handled me into position and got on with it, so over and done with in a matter of moments. Wonderful.
Am liking the idea of a walk in tardis fridge for the flushes! And the paper shoes are fab ![]()
Bit ouchy Ali, but it’s done!
FF, glad your course went soooooooo well and you knew ALL of the answers, tee hee!
Cookies made woo hoo!!
! Nanny ended up with flour all over her and the floor, GD was spotless, so am about to raid our new tardis fridge for yummys…then sit on the “how can I get so messy??” bench
! xx
PS hope you phoned your BCN RevCat, she says sternly…
Glad all ouchy things went well all. I remember it was a lovely Chinese lady that did mine. Most memorable bit was her saying, in a Chinese accent ’ don’t breathe, don’t breathe, don’t breathe and… Breathe’. You do need the Chinese accent for best effect.
k x
Tee hee mine didn’t mention not breathing, she just told me to stick my bum out a bit!
