Pizza, quiche, dips and crisps. Humungous cheese board and crusty bread. Black forest gateau and hot mince pies laced with brandy butter. I shall be wearing my purple lurex onesie with rhinestone bedecked Doc Martins, knee highs, tiara and fake fur stole. Lovely. I have my best non-singing voice all warmed up ready and the alligators are looking anxious.
One more get up to do. Christmas parties at school tomorrow - the final hurdle before blessed peace! One of the kids gave me a beautiful gingerbread 3D Christmas tree he’d made with his mum. It’s decorated with Smarties and Jelly tots! 
ALLIBURGERS! I forgot about the alliburgers! No wonder those alligators are looking anxious…and I thought it was dread of my singing!! Or worry that FF will start alligator wrangling again?!
You on Tapoyfen, Ali? One of the SEs of that is tiredness. I still get ridiculously tired sometimes - total and utter exhaustion, like during rads, for no apparent reason. Maybe our compromised immune systems have to work harder to fight off the plethora of bugs that are about at the moment? Have some cake, that’ll help.

Tiredness still an issue with me too, put it down to other ailments but what JCJ is saying makes sense. Since I had my flu jab have had an afternoon nap the last two days?? So body fighting etc could well be right.

A day behind Ali? Oh I wish I was only a day behind! Thanks to catching the worst cough/cold in the world I think I’m about 10 days behind:smileysad: I have no idea how to catch up. I have even had to have three days off work this week, first days off sick (not counting bc) since 2009. I don’t DO off sick! Too many years spent self employed I think. However, feeling halfway human again and it’s now the end of term. Yay! I have sneaked away early today (don’t tell!) and will make up the time next week.
Thank goodness for internet shopping I say. Everybody has at least one pressie to open and vouchers will sort the rest.
Have looked out my outfit for the carol singing. Very fetching catsuit in green velvet with red brocade and orange satin. (Who muttered "Dog’s dinner? I heard you!).
Cannot possibly alligator wrangle, just do not have the energy!
Dogs have Carol singing outfits sorted - Meg will be in her new red Mac complete with fluorescent yellow go-faster stripes plus contrasting tinsel, Joey will wear his fleece-lined(due to cut and blow) purple coat with attached baubles. I shall be in big blue waterproof, big boots and the mad Swedish fur hat - so I won’t hear anyone singing. In the interests of harmony, I shall mime…

With my red fluffy face, beard and HUGE tummy, think I am in a strong position.
Please pop gifts in the barrel, near the shed, not any where near the spider sanctuary.

Baubles (or “bull balls” as one of our parents insists on calling them! :)) various sizes - for decorating beards/costumes/hair/earrings etc
DRINK - especially, but not exclusively alcoholhic (spelling intended!)

STAY AWAY FROM THE WELL!! Don’t you remember? It’s where we wrangled the alligators to when we used the lake for the Benchland Ice Diving extravaganza!! It’s probably full of alligator poo!
If it cures your cough, though FF, we might be in for a killing. There’s always room in the market for effective cough remedies. Watch out Dragons’ Den here we come with our Alligalinctus?!

Dried children’s faeces shouldn’t be hard to come by in your line of work. FF? EW - even *I* wish I hadn’t said that!! Perhaps the Alligalinctus WILL work then - especially if we chucked some honey into the lake along with the guilt?
The Alligalinctus has not worked. I’m still coughing! I feel fine in myself though so that’s the end of the cold at least.
I am not even going to think of your recipe Katy. Even if the ingredients are readily available (even up the walls…how?..why?..who?). I will keep taking the remedy I’ve got although it’s obviously not working either.:smileysad:
Off to bed with me, school tomorrow, got to try and catch up now in the three days before Christmas.
