I am due to have a mastopexy in a few weeks time. Does anyone know when or if you should stop taking Tamoxifen before the operation? I meant to ask my BCN when I saw her but forgot all about it.
I am having recon on Thursday and have got to stop Tamoxifen tomorrow (sunday) as instructed by surgeon. you need to check with hospital.

I had oophorectomy week before last and at pre-op, I was told to take Tamoxifen on the day of op, with the tiniest amount of water!!
I also have calcium tablets every day but was told not to take this ???
