New to discussion board so not sure whether I’m doing this right.
Wondered whether anyone could help with this. Was diagnosed in Jan 2006, had WLE, CHEMO and Rads then Tamoxifen. Was on Tamoxifen for about a year but it didn’t agree with the liver so I’ve been taken off it with a view to having ovaries removed. Seen the surgeon etc and waiting for a date to go in. I’ve been off Tamoxifen for about 10 weeks now and still no date for ovaries…beginning to worry. Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay?

I don’t have any experience of being taken off tamoxifen, but 10 weeks without any info seems a long time. Can you ring anyone who can help? How about a breast care nurse? Or can you ring the hospital and ask to speak to the surgeon’s secretary? They might be able to find out for you.
