5 days on since my first Chemo (taxotere) I am finding my body achey and have a strange soreness around the anal and vaginal areas, is this a common side effect?
My legs and knees don’t feel connected to my body, I know that sounds strange but it is a weird feeling and my knees especially are very painful.
I just need to know if anyone else has felt this with taxo?
Thanks all, have a nice day
I have had very painful knees on Tax, I put it down to the fact that I injured my knees years ago, but perhaps it is the chemo. Are you on the Neuralasta injections? They can cause joint pain as part of the side effects. Also re the other area mine feels strangely numb.
Thanks sunnymeg, i’m popping ibuprofen and paracetamol 4 hourly but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Does it ease a few days after chemo or just stay continually throughout the 3 weeks in between?
The vulval soreness and irritation was so much so today I went to the Dr. She is treating it as an allergic reaction as its very inflamed itchy and sore. I was also sent for a urine spec in case of any infection.
My body is behaving very strangely as I’ve been allergic to all the plasters they’ve used, which has caused blister. Never before have I ever been allergic to anything.
