Sudden pain in mastectomy area year after surgery

Hi
I’ve started to get some sudden pain in my mastectomy area that really stops me in my tracks for a few minutes at a time. It’s just started in the last week. Is it something I need to report into my consultant?

Hi. I had mastectomy two and a half years ago with no issues until a couple months ago. I was getting sudden sharp pains. Called BCN who got me in to see someone. Had ultrasound and given all clear. Told it was probably scar tissue. It has calmed down now. Good luck. Scary times never seem to end.
