Since having primary TNBC I am worried about taking any supplements but my nails have been so weak since chemo and don’t seem to be getting better.
I’m on no treatment and wondered if there is any reason I wouldn’t be able to take collagen supplements?
It’s a minefield- any advice much appreciated!

Hey fellow TNBC survivor! I have just completed chemo and halfway through radiotherapy (three more to go😁). My nails are awful - bruised, thickened and very unsightly. All from Docetaxel and Carboplatin. On the advice of my oncologist, I was advised to take supplements after completing chemotherapy. My last chemo was 03/11/23 and I began Perfectil original, hair skin and nails, 01/12/23. Unfortunately, this is my second TNBC, my first was diagnosed Dec 2017. My choice in supplement now, stems from having used it the first time round and getting good results. But, as with all supplements, do seek advice from your oncologist. Best of luck and take care.
