hello there well i was looking for the best place to send this post so i picked the one i thought was best .
my name is ruby i had breastcancer coming up 7years ago and i am doing just great i just wanted you all to know that i am doing a photo shoot on friday for my local asda store in dundee for to support breast cancer awarness.
i will be wearing a bikini even tho i am 54 lol and a grass houla skirt with a feather bo lol .as i had a reconstruction on the 31st of january im really looking forward to showing off my new boob lol .
so what i really want to say that there really is a light at the end of the tunnel just like you all on this site i had chemo and radio ,and i send out love and light to you all and god bless.

Angel - just wanted to say congratulations on being so well and so far down the line and good on ya girl!!!

It is difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel when we are just at the beginning of our journey but its good to read a post like yours.

Hope you have a fun day and enjoying showing off your new boob

well thanxs fiona , thanxs for that you feel so sad and sorry for every one who are just diagnosed or are going through the grulling chemo and radio, i just had to let them all know that things do get better and that you do get your life back even tho at the time you dont think it .have you had breast cancer and are you well now

Hi Angel

Unfortunately I am just at the beginning of my journey--------------dx 13th July - chemo started 30th July, will need surgery then rads plus or minus tamoxifen - so thats me till beginning of next year at least!! Seems like a heck of a long way away and obviously have up and down days but just trying to get on with it the best I can.

Friends etc say it will be all over soon etc and you’ll get there - but its nice to hear it from someone whos actually been there like you!!!

thanxs every one for your posts ,mmm i dont know if i will be in the september issue lol my friend ask me to do the shoot ,last year i did a feature in our local paper about my experience with breast cancer plus i let hundreds of ballons go all for breast cancer.so as i said she presuaded me to do the bikini shoot as its all for a very good cause i dont mind 1 bit showing of my booty lol.
fiona you will get through every thing you will be amazed at how strong you can and will be to get over something like breast cancer ,or any kind of cancer but as i said this is me coming up for my 7th year if there is any thing you want to ask me feel free talk soon and take care
