Surgeons in Scotland

Hello,

I’m hoping for advice about going elsewhere for my double mastectomies.

I’m in central Scotland, and have lost confidence in my breast surgeons.

They will not/cannot answer questions and worries, and their attitude is not helpful.

Did your experience give you confidence that you are in the best hands? 

I feel like I’ve been in a fight with them since diagnosis, and cant take anymore. I need someone who gives me confidence they are actually on my side!

I know how you feel. I am also in Scotland. I have spoken to three different surgeons. Feel like I’m on a conveyor belt. 

 

I find the breast care nurse helps but I don’t feel I have the information I need to make the decisions I need to make.
