Has anyone had any experience of Mr Raj Achuthan at Jimmy’s hospital, I am have a double mastectomy and ive asked for a flat closure and I wondered if anyone has experience of that?? Thank you

Hi @claspe. My mum was cared for by Mr Achuthan and he was fantastic. She didn’t have the same procedure as you (bilateral mastectomies for two separate primaries over a year) but he was always kind, supportive and clearly a very skilled surgeon. She’s 9 years on now - aged 88 - and still living life to the full. I hope your treatment goes well

Im at Jimmy’s. I dont have the same surgeon but I think they’re all very good. Ive been in and out of the breast clinic for 22 years now and always had excellent treatment.
