Surgery 1 week tomorrow, pre op tomorrow.

Hi
Today I got a call to remind me of pre op tomorrow and they are emailing all my appointments , I knew about pre op , pre op discussion about wound care, op date and even a follow up appointment in a months time .

However I also got an appointment to have ‘Wire fitting’ on the morning of my op in a different building and 10 minutes before I need to be on the surgical ward

Does anyone know what that could be please

I’ve just discovered what it means , I would have preferred being told in person tomorrow or even at my last appointment but it is what it is .

Glad you now know what it is, I agree though, it would have been nice to be have been told in person. I just want to wish you all the best for your surgery, mine is scheduled for the 7th February. Nerve wracking time isn’t it!
