I was verbally told I’d have surgery at the end of this month, but still waiting for the actual date. Best wishes for the 20th. Do you have a date for your pre-ops, or is that on same day?

Hi (again), I’ve just had news, smx on 25th May, with pre ops on 20th. Best of luck, x
I had my results on April 22nd, stage 2 grade 1, ER+PR+HERneg. Now have my surgery date of May 26th for lumpectomy/SNL biopsy. Decisions on any further treatment will be made by MDT after surgery. So much has happened in such a short time but I’m somewhat relieved that surgery will be first.
The core biopsy was five weeks ago but I still have some bruising and the hard lump it caused has not disappeared yet.
It’s been only seven weeks since my first visit to the clinic, I’m both shocked and amazed at how quickly everything is moving but it’s all for the best.
