Hello everyone, was wondering if anyone can help. Was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly 4 years ago. Was one of the lucky ones where I didn’t have chemo or radio. Was put on tamoxifen which I take religiously. 2 weeks ago I started having a throbbing pain on the right side of my Fallopian tube which travelled down the right side of my leg. Was in absolute agony… A week later I had a surprise period, ( which I haven’t had since taking tamoxifen) so far I’ve bled for 8 days but not too heavily. Is there anyone out there that has gone through this. Scared it might be something serious as one of the side effect is cancer of the uterus.

Random bleeds are possible on tamoxifen - I had one two years in, after chemo had stopped my periods. But any post menopausal bleeding should be checked out, for your peace of mind of nothing else.
