I am going through the menopause not caused by my treatment may I add and due to start rads fairly soon what can I take for symptoms of the menopause that’s safe during this time? The sweating particularly is driving me mad have thought about seeing my GP but would rather go for something more natural would really welcome some advice thankyou 
Let us know if you find anything. I just rely on a desk fan that runs powered by my PC at work and the old bedclothes on, bedclothes off game.
I am suffering too! Had them before treatment but twice as bad now on Anastrozole. Like toriaconey I have fans but all over house. Makes sleeping difficult as so hot and do the bedclothes thing on , off . I often get up now as don’t want to disturb hubby. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Katykookabura .
Forgot to say that I perspire really bad and it runs down my face which is embarrassing because it is so noticeable and people start asking if I am ok especially in meetings. Katy.

Hi, I am on letrazole n zoladex which have caused sweats. I was offered acupuncture to help from my hospital. My sweats have reduced lots. I have cut out alcohol and reduce caffeine. Also invested in cotton clothing. Not having many hot sweats/flushes. It maybe my body has become used to this drug. xx
Ladies my hot flushes get me down, and this time last year they were a lot worse going through chemo, I was really lucky as I read on a thread about a chillow pillow. You can buy it of the web aprox £25.oo. You fill it with cold water and there is crystals inside absorbers the water about 1cm thickness and just smaller than a bed pillow, and you lie on it at night so it keeps your head cold all night, really really helped with my hot flush. Still useing it now and you cam buy smaller ones you can use at work or at home. Hope this helps. XX

Not found anything yet,same as everone fans all over the place. Got a Chillow it help a little but still wake up all hours of the night.x
