I have posted before, regarding ongoing problems with my left breast.
To cut a long story short, I have a lump bottom left of areola area, daily tenderness & pain & thickening area under left breast, along upper left ribcage area.
Was given ultrasound, FNA & core biopsy last October. Was told lump benign, thickening normal. Normal changes etc.
Have never been really convinced that all was ok though.
But was made to feel a bit like a hysterical woman when I went back 2nd time.
(Even mentioned counselling!)
I was quite offended to be honest.
This is certainly not in my head.
Anyway,
Now I have new things that have appeared,
A few weeks ago I noticed my left ribcage & abdomen area all under my breast & around to my back is slightly swollen & bulging,
(Pertruding) (sp?)
My left ribs on my back also ache, as does my collarbone & neck.
The bulging area on my front left rib side burns/itches sensation.
I can feel little lumps there sometimes.
All this is happening on the left side where the problem breast is. (Coincidence?)
I have also started to feel an occasional heartburn type feeling after eating (even a small amount) don’t know if this connected?
I went to the GP a couple of wks ago, & they have scheduled me in for an abdominal US next Wednesday.
But I didn’t have the back ache or puffiness round my side when I went GP, that has come on since.
My husband wants me to go back to GP to show them the new area of swelling.
I thought I was imagining it as my arm is catching on my side! But my husband looked last night & said there is definite puffiness/bulging there.
My husband also thinks I have lost weight.
Could this be anything to do with my problem breast?
Why is everything happening on my left side?
I still have pain/tenderness & the lump in my breast.
I cannot shake the feeling that something was missed when I went for original US & biopsy last October.
Has anyone ever had breast problems that have then started to affect the rib/stomach or back area?
I feel like I’m never going to get to the bottom of this.
I’m desperate for advice from anyone that has had any of these symptoms.
