I had smx and diep in November . For about the last few week my stomach has been swelling /bloating from mid afternoon . By the evening it’s very tight and uncomfortable . By the following morning my stomach is flat again . Im waiting on my second post op app and seeing physio today . Has anyone else experienced this 4 months down the line
Would appreciate any help or experiences

Hiya I’m 8 months post diep. I had intermittent swelling for about 6 months. Less so now but always feels tighter in tummy later in day and def notice bloating. There is a diep forum on facebook and I found that helpful to search and comfort in that I wasn’t alone! I think 4 months is still really early - you are still healing on the inside and I think from what I’ve seen lots of ladies experience this. If you are worried I’d speak to your breast nurse . Things that helped me were keeping moving and small and often food rather than bigger meals. Hope it improves for you. It’s a huge op and recovery takes a while
