I’ve been on letrozole and zoladex for over 3 years now, and because of some of the side effects that it is giving me, ie, raised blood pressure and cholesterol, the oncologist suggested switching to tamoxifen. This was originally dismissed because of a large fibroid that i have. But she didn’t seem concerned about that. She also said that in recent years, there has been more success by switching between drugs over the years rather than staying on the same one.
