Thank you x :heartpulse:

It’s perfectly normal for your breast to be swollen after biopsies mine was and also very bruised, and took a couple of weeks to go down. Try not to worry these things take time to heal and unfortunately are necessary for diagnosis

Lots of hugs

Hi Carmen.
I had two punch biopsies and one vacuum biopsy. Breast bruises lasted many weeks, also the marker they left was removed inside of a hematoma at OP, 50 days later.
BC team told me that I should let them know in case skin was red and hot, because that could be an infection.

Hello carmen81

Thank you for your question.

As @sparkle0103 and @mlen say some bruising and swelling is normal after a core biopsy. This normally settles after a few days or weeks.

If it’s painful, you can take some pain relief.
