Hi
Itβs perfectly normal for your breast to be swollen after biopsies mine was and also very bruised, and took a couple of weeks to go down. Try not to worry these things take time to heal and unfortunately are necessary for diagnosis
Lots of hugs

Thank you for replying thats put my mind at ease

Hi Carmen.
I had two punch biopsies and one vacuum biopsy. Breast bruises lasted many weeks, also the marker they left was removed inside of a hematoma at OP, 50 days later.
BC team told me that I should let them know in case skin was red and hot, because that could be an infection.
Xx
Hello carmen81
Thank you for your question.
As @sparkle0103 and @mlen say some bruising and swelling is normal after a core biopsy. This normally settles after a few days or weeks.
If itβs painful, you can take some pain relief.
