Hi, I finished 6 rounds of FEC-T 3 weeks ago, I am trying to be active by walking and cycling. My ankles have started to swell, there is no pain and wondered if anyone else has experienced this.
Hi. My ankles also swelled after FEC-T. They were fine first thing in the morning but swelled up during the day. I can’t remember how long it took to clear up, but it does help to elevate your feet as much as you can - ideally, they should be higher than your pelvis. I would mention it to your BCN or onc if you’re concerned as you can be given diuretics if needed. I admire you for cycling - I felt exhausted for quite a while after chemo xx
Thank you for your reply Tweasel, your reply helps, it’s good to know I’m not on my own. I have a pre op tomorrow so will mention it to them. I have a feeling I may have overdone the exercising, that’s what I’m hoping xx
