Swollen posterior cervical lymph node 3 years since end of treatment

Hi all

I didn’t know where to ask for help but thought I could try here.I finished treatment coming up 3 years in May.Both my mum and sister had bc and mastectomy plus axillary clearance and both passed the 10 year mark.I had lumpectomy and axillary clearance on right side and chemo and rads .Had usual, issues of pain in arms, lymphedema in breast and since then have developed swelling in both arms, pain in my hands and swollen fingers( much worse overnight into the am) terrible stiff knees and painful joints and where Inhave had previous back surgery,my back and pelvis hurt like mad, especially after doing too much.I have been back and forth to drs physio osteopath and onc.My onc suggested changing from tamoxifen, then it was exemestane and now anstrazole.I have been on anastrazole for about 6 weeks.

What I had failed to mention,as I honestly  thought it was “nothing” was a very slight bump, like a vein I thought ,in the side of my neck.I noticed it around Christmas time and said nothing. It seem d to get bigger then go away,I haven’t been ill ,just had lots of pain in various places,I dismissed and didnt bother to mention it.Then last week I noticed it had got bigger, gone hard like a pea and was felt by my husband.I had an appointment with nurse at gps and asked her what to do as I felt silly seeing a dr about it.She felt it,got the gp straight in and now I’m on the 2 week fast track to hospital.I see plastics consultant next tues and I am now really worried that it is secondary bc.It isnt in the clavicle and there is just this one node.Has anyone had same experience? My husband has just finished surgery for prostate cancer and he hasn’t got the all clear yet .I cannit believe we are both only in our 50’s and it is like some awful joke someone is playing on us.I have been taking diazepam when i feel overwhelmed. Can anyone tell me what to expect at thus appointment next week?will they scan me?

thanks in advance

By now you will have more of an idea what it is/was, and I’d be interested to know if you feel like postig.
