Thanks Ali! I have mythered about my nails far more than my hair! The natural state of my nails us that they are strong, rarely break and I didn’t put nail polish on them because it irritates my face which I seem to touch a lot. This is what I have done so far - I have been putting OnicoLife drops on my nails daily (sometimes twice daily) since a couple of weeks before I started FEC. By the end if cycle 3 there was slight bruising under the thumb nails where the half moon is/was.
So for the start of T (docetaxol) I bought Sally Hansen complete salon manicure 7in1 in dark blue and another in dark red. I also bought Boots acetone free nail polish remover. Nails painted! No face rash - might do this regularly now after treatment! Have still been using the OnicoLife nail drops most days, massaging it around the edges. 11 days after first T and I’ve removed the nail polish (nails still look OK) applied more OnicoLife drops and about to repaint them. Nooo idea if this will work - I’ll keep you posted!
