Taking a break from tamoxifen?

Hello all

Has anyone taken a temporary 6 week break from tamoxifen to see if it made a difference to possible side effects? If so, when you started taking it again did you experience the same side effects as before or did you get any new ones?

Hi sorry you haven’t had a response , I know there are people on the forum have taken the 6 week break to work out what is causing what , hopefully someone will spot your post and share their experience  . Best wishes Jill x

I’m afraid I don’t have an answer to your question but I’d be really interested to know other peoples experiences. I’ve been taking tamoxifen for 3 years now and sometimes I worry that the side effects have become the new norm. I’ve forgotten what it was like to feel happy and energised. I’ve been thinking about taking a break myself to see how it feels.
