Wednesday 28 April – 11am -12:30pm
Later this month, Breast Cancer Now will be joined by the Preparing for Loss team from Jigsaw for a live discussion session around Talking to Children. Jigsaw provide information, advice and guidance for children and young people (up to the age of 19) who have a family member with a life-threatening condition.
The aim of the session is to provide support and guidance for anyone with secondary breast cancer who is concerned about how and when to talk to the children in their family about their diagnosis. This could include wider family members such as grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
There will be plenty of time for questions and you will be signposted to further sources of support and information around the UK.
Alongside the Jigsaw team this session will be facilitated by one of our experienced therapists who will offer support throughout.
This session is offered as part of our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer online service where you can access regular Zoom meetings and speaker sessions. To register for the service and sign up for this session, please email secondaryservices@breastcancernow.org or comment below if you have any questions.
Warmest wishes
Helen
