Tamoxifen and constant heat!

Hi all,

I started on tamoxifen about 2 weeks ago. Not feeling bad so far, but I feel hot 99% of the time. I don’t feel like it is hot flushes as such as it lasts so long - hours then an hour or so of normal temperature.

I have read that hormones control body temperature so I am not worried, more interested in others’ experiences.

This only causes a problem when it happens in the middle of the night.

Hi , yes I felt hot most of the time on Tamoxifen with the occasional blast of intense heat !!! I haven’t needed more than a summer duvet ever since  and I was a really cold person. I think often things do settle down after the first couple of months but it’s very common to continue with hot flushes whilst on Tamoxifen.
