Anyway, feeling a bit worried and wanting a rant. (sorry…)
I started on tamoxifen a couple of weeks ago - took a long time to make that decision because of the possible horrendous side effects. Still not really sure if it is worth it as it won’t necessarily stop the nasty coming back.
So now I have a nasty taste in my mouth, itchy ladybits, feeling of cystitis, constipation and hot legs!
Actually the legs are NOT really hot - they just feel like I have been sunbathing too much, but are actually the same temp as the rest of me. They are not red but feel tingly as well and of course, the sensation is worse at night.
Anyone else had this? Am thinking of having a few days off to see if it is really the pills, though as it wasn’t an issue before I suspect it is.
Tamoxifen is my last chance at the pills - I have tried Anastrazole and exemestane - felt about 90 and could hardly climb the stairs with the pain in my knees (amongst many other things that the onc didn’t like to see).
so any thoughts? will this pass?
