Tamoxifen and periods

Hi. 
I have been on tamoxifen for just over 12 months, I’ve been having such horrendous periods The the hospital booked me in for a hysterectomy. But then I haven’t had a period now for months! My operation date isn’t until next year. 
should I be worried about the erratic changes?? thanks

Thank you for posting. Sorry to read about the side effects of Tamoxifen you’re experiencing. You could chat with our specialist breast cancer nurses about your treatment and its side effects. They are available Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm and Saturdays from 9am-1pm. They are reachable on 0808 800 6000.
