Tamoxifen and very heavy period

ok, starting to get a bit freaked here, this is my first period whilst on tamoxifen. It is so heavy, today is day 1, never had anything like it, double my usual loss, ( grim detail alert) , using a super orange tampon every hour. Is this normal? Has anyone had this? Will it likely be like this every time??? 

 

Any advice welcome

Mine are the same , horrendous for 2 days then pretty much stops by day 3or 4, the worst thing 

is not knowing when they will start now, always regular as clockwork before but now can be every 4,6,8 weeks! I’ve been on Tamoxifen for 16 months  , had hoped they might have stopped by now!!
