I wondered if anyone has any issues with bleeding during sex whilst on tamoxifen? Im 34 and have been on tamoxifen for a year, as i wasnt in a relationship i wasnt having sex but now i am and i bleed every time, which is quite embarrassing with somebody new. Has anyone else experienced this? Im considering stopping taking tamoxifen because of this.

There are a few reasons for bleeding during sex, are you up to date with your smear tests? If its been a while, it might be prudent to book in for one, particularly as you have a new partner . Tamoxifen may or may not have a bearing, so ask your breast care nurse about it for more advice on that before stopping and eliminate other causes. It may not be down to tamoxifen.
