Just wondering how the different brands of tamoxifen have affected you.

Hello and how are you doing 
I am on the Teva brand of tamoxifen, on the whole been absolutely fine on it and my pharmacist is very happy to get it for me as he says I need to be on it fo 5 years so if it suits me then great.
The only side effects I have had is the wonderful hot flushes again which I had when I first went through the menopause, a bit of constipation, lately I have been having some cramps in my right leg at night time but they are not regular, probably have had 4/5 in the last couple of months. I do occasionally get achy joints but all of this is manageable. Have been on it now for 10 months

Hi Ollybobs,
I’ve been on the Wockhardt brand for over year now. So far, no other menopausal symptoms other than I was having anyway. I do notice some more mild cramping in the legs than before, but it’s not a problem.

Hi,
I’ve been on the Wockhardt brand since January and have been fine apart from hot flushes and a slight change to my eyesight. A few aches and pains, but may have had them anyway!
