I have my check up in May and think I will be taken off Tamoxifen as would of been on it 5 years.
I know my risk will go up once Tamoxifen is stopped, I’m not post-menopausal yet…are there any other options I could ask for? alot of other Hormone treatments appear to only be prescribed for post-menopausal cases…I have had a hysterectomy [10 years ago] but still have my ovaries…would removal of ovaries be an option ??
zolodex or an oopherotomy are an option…you could then go onto arimiedex
