Surgery in November 11th, skipped on radiotherapy, chosen tamoxifen for prevention. So my periods have stopped. I’m 46 and have only been on tamoxifen for a month and a half. I don’t know what to do I’m hearing that it’s normal via the helpline but the side effects are fatigue, acne on my chest, and I’m struggling to remember things. I got a PCN for forgetting to put my blue badge out on my dash, I’m going in circles with tasks and getting distracted easily. I don’t get on well with my GP they’re always gaslighting me. And I’ve had to ditch the bra because the bottom of my scar is still looking blistered.
I’m a single autistic disabled parent so the idea of going back to see the nurses is triggering so looking to find a good balance between avoiding or necessary evil for peace of mind. Any facts, lived experience etc all helps me to rationalize what to do next.
