Having a very anxious few days. Currently on tamoxifen after breast cancer diagnosis last December. Mastectomy and chemo followed by radiotherapy. Started tamoxifen with monthly Prostap injections at the end of June. Have awful muscle aches and in particular lower back and hip pain which can keep me awake. Not too bad if I’m moving around during the day but it’s really getting me down and I’m now in a panic about secondaries. Just needed to reach out. Can tamoxifen give these side effects? It’s awful being back to worry stage. Bone scan on Monday and I’m so nervous xx

Good luck with your scan . It’s very scary when you get aches and pains ,your mind can’t help thinking the worst . Hopefully you will get your results quickly and it will put your mind at rest🤞
