I’m almost done with my tamoxifen treatment I was diagnosed in 2019 in may had my surgery the following August I started tamoxifen in October of 2019 my oncologist told me I could stop in October of this year (2024) but I was thinking of stopping early as of July will it be a big deal if I stop 3 months early, will it make a difference. Love to hear from you ladies on this

We do hear from people who like yourself wonder if they can stop taking their tamoxifen a bit earlier than has been suggested. The best person to ask about this is your oncologist. If you are still under the care of the hospital you can contact your breast care nurse for an appointment. If you have been discharged from hospital care your GP can contact your oncologist for advice.
