Tamoxifen symptoms

Hi everyone, 

Just a question in relation to Tamoxifen. I have been on it now for about 20 months following breast cancer treatment. I’m just curious if anyone has experienced tightness in the chest, nausea and aches and pains in upper back plus my hot flushes are more severe lately. I’m putting it down to tamoxifen but I’m a bit surprised symptoms are getting worse when I thought they might be settling down a bit after time. Would love to hear anyone who may have had a similar experience. Thanks so much x

Sounds like it would be a good idea to discuss this with your breast care nurse and /or GP as potentially there could be other things causing your symptoms .I did get nausea with Tamoxifen in the beginning but it wore off . Any sort of chest tightness needs to be discussed with a medic . You could also post about this in the hormone therapy of the forum .I things resolve for you soon . Some people have a short break from hormone meds agreed to see if symptoms resolve .
