Sorry to hear u have had to change chemo again …if you don’t get any replies here …suggest you pop into the chemo threads under going through treatment as taxotere is used for the primary ladies as the second part after FEC …my best friend has just had her 3rd tax as a primary lady. …

Hi Kay, as Carolyn has said have a look at the treatments section in the main part of the forum. I was on docetaxel (Taxotere) in 2014 after Cape had stoppedbeing effective. I found a lot of useful tips about the side effects on there as there are so many primary ladies who have experience of this drug. All chemos seem to have different days when their side effects kick in so this particular chemo was quite different in SEs from those I’d had on FEC back in 2008. Once you’ve had a chance to read some of their top tips feel free to ask me about my experiences either by PM or on here. Happy to help. There’s also a thread in the secondaries section about Pertuzamab which is a drug given with herceptin for HER2+ SBC women all of whom will have had at least one cycle of docetaxel as you have to have the other 2 drugs (H & P) with docetaxel - which is why I had it. Although I don’t think you are HER2+ the chemo part - and associated SEs - for this regime is the same as docetaxel on its own (or at least I found that they were)
