Ten years on

Hi

this is just a brief post. I was diagnosed with primary breast cancer justover ten years ago. It was a life changing diognosis and my life changed dramatically. But I am here to tell the tale. I was very afraid at the start but on here got to know some wonderful people, three of whom I am still in touch with and we hope to meet up for the first time this year.

I know that it could come back but I live my life to the full and try not to worry about it. I treasure my family and friends.

i can’t give advice, but I can say friendship is invaluable.

Hi Alice60 (note the similar title!),

It’s great to hear from someone who has been through so many years after treatment. You sound so positive. I am 1 year on (age 62) and struggling with fatigue, depression and arthritus. I too have had wonderful support from the lovely ladies on this forum!
