Hello Ladies.
Tomorrow I go for my mammogram. I will be five years from DX. I usually go to Dewsbury District hospital. This year I’m going to Pinderfields in Wakefield. I don’t know why the location has changed but it is adding to the stress. The wonderful department at Dewsbury have given me an unofficial thumbs upIeach year. I’m terrified that tomorrow I will have to come home and wait for the official letter. As we all know the waiting is the hardest part in this disease.
Please keep fingers crossed, pray to your God or do whatever you normally do to get me through, what will hopefully be a milestone check.
Thanks
Chinook

Hello Everyone
So grateful for all the goodwill messages.
I’ve spent the morning clearing my wardrobe of the dull me and booked for a hair cut and colour tomorrow (red and spikey).
Nails are done and glam outfit sorted ready for hospital. I’ve also made sure vases are all clean so I can fill them all with Spring flowers tonight.
Still bricking it, but it has to be done.
Love and luck to you all. I’ll think of you Tuesday Laraine.

P.S. Son comes home from Afghanistan in 2 weeks. Guess what he works on?
I wish you all the very best - my own 5 year milestone comes in October of this year, but I don’t usually get my mammo until November. I am willing myself to make it safely to the end of remission, but of course there is always that little bit of nagging doubt in the background isn’t there?
