After 15 years when I had heavy node involvement the breast cancer has retuned in the other breast.
I have 8 visits to the breast clinic whee they said it was just pre cancerous cells that they would remove. I finally had surgery where they removed a 45mm area and a 3mm cancer was found. Although they got clear margins they need to take a little more out and check my lymph nodes.
I have had a backache since this all started and am having an MRI on Sunday to check its not spread. I’m feeling pretty shellshocked at the moment and just wanted to chat to someone who may have gone through this. Thank you.

Very tough on you. This is the hardest time to go through all this again and the waiting is awful. Don’t assume the worst as it’s easy to jump to the worst outcome while you are waiting for results. Keep busy go for walks if you can and I hope you will get positive news. On your back pain I have found that symptoms appear when stressed so it might be unrelated.

@dottycat thinking of you, wishing you luck for tomorrow with your MRI scan fingers crossed for a good outcome.

I had my results back from the MRI. It showed 2 spots on spine. The radiologist though that the spots may be age related, but have to have a Pet scan to check which will happen in mid oct. I also have a slightly enlarged ovary for a peron of my age (64) so waiting for an ultra sound. My anxiety is so high. Thanks for listening ladies. xx
