TEVA have stopped making Anastrozole

Having gone around the houses the past few weeks with an unfulfilled 3 months prescription renewal I contacted TEVA direct and received a reply yesterday about their brand of Anastrozole

So 3 years in I am now expected to change brand.

My head says that’s fine but the little devil on my shoulder says ‘ Oh crap here comes new side effects’

Anyone want to recommend a new brand for me which won’t add to my long list?

○ foot pain

○joint pain

○fatigue

○brain fog

○low sex drive

○occasional migraines ( never had them before this drug)

○ night sweats

○dry skin

○weight gain

Hi Curlywurly,

I am on anastrozole and get various different brands. I have had Teva in the past and didn’t realise they had stopped making it! It’s annoying when you get settled with something and then have to change.

I have had Mylan a few times and they seem to have been ok for me.

I hope you find something you can get on with.

TEVA made me feel really ill. Better on accord and Amarox. KEY is horrendous for me but seems to be everywhere.
