Wanted to share good news. Dx Jan this year with grade 2 invasive lobular. Had WLE with SNB but nodes clear. Now about to start rads. Had all my scans back had CT, whole body bone scan and all clear. Starting tamoxifen and discussions now on only 10% chance of recurrence in 10 years time. This goes down to 5% when i start Zoladex (ovarian suppression) injections 3 months time.

10 years i couldnt believe it and then my odds get even better. Am happy with only 5/10% for next 10 years.

I’m a very lucky lady as was treated at The Royal Marsden. On 2 research projects there as to why younger women like me get BC.

A big thanks to Breast Cancer Care your website, booklets and forum are like someone giving you a big hug right when u need it.

My heart goes out to all us ladies with BC

I know my post should have been in primaries but my heart really goes put to all you secondary ladies as u give us hope and courage. I know as i lost both my parents to cancer so really feel for you.

I’m sending each and everyone of u secondary ladies a big hug xxx
