Hi All
Got my results today. 5 (what ever they are) clear margins 10 nodes taken and all clear, I can not begin to tell you how absolutly relieved I am. Still have to have radiotherapy but they said i may get away with only three weeks and Arimidex for 5 years but that is such a small price to pay to get rid of this Parasite. I am sending all my good wishes to all on here.

Delighted to hear your news Tina - fingers crossed that you only need 3 weeks of rads. I had 6 and was lucky with how my skin held up. I’m 4-5 weeks post rads now and skin is almost back to normal - just got one tanned boob and one white boob.

However - word of warning … when I was at your stage I was delighted to tell everyone that I ‘just’ had to have rads and pills … there is no such thing as ‘just rads’… it does take it out of you and it does take some time afterwards to get over it. Be sensible and don’t try to do everything at once.

You start your rads soon dont you. I have to wait now for an appointment for my planing meeting (i think, cant really remember what was said apart from its gone) so it looks as though you will be nearly finished by the time I start, i hope you will tell me all about it and especially with all the travelling, and even if your treatment is nearly at its end we may still be able to offer you a lift. I am so glad that others have had good news to, I was really expecting the worst and was quite stunned to be told good news instead, so now there will have to be big life changes I dont want to waste the 2nd chance i have been given
