Hi everyone
Thank you so much for replying to my post , re my Angel, its lovely to know some of you have gained some strength from it . I have written a book for children who have lost a parent through death . I did it for my daughter candice , she is 10 now. Its about a bumble bee who.s mummy dies , he sees a cocoon and doesn,t know what it is , he sits beside it every day having conversations , when his mummy dies he goes to it and cries his little heart out ,in a way he blames himself for not doing as he is told . Until one day the cocoon opens and this beautiful butterfly comes out and tells him she has been listening to every thing he has said , she helps him and tells him he is not to blame and to imagine his mummy as the cocoon , that its whats inside the cocoon that matters the cocoon is just a shell , its the soul which has been set free to look upon him forever more. This little story has helped my little girl understand a bit more . i haven,t sent it to a publisher yet , i,m thinking i may do it soon and see what happens . Love to you all x
Carol,
I think you should send it to a publisher there are so few good story books out there for children on this subject!
Good luck with it! Love debs xxxx
Hi Carol,
I agree with Debs, There is such little literature out there aimed at young children. As a mother too, it is so important to us to try and find a path through this and for younger children, stories have such a deeper meaning. Some stories stick with us for the rest of our lives. Your story is not only very spiritual but very easy to understand and very well thought out.
I wish you all the luck
God Bless
