Those of you who purchased Elaine Sassoon’s book may wish to be informed that Emma, lady on the front cover, died on Monday of this week after an “extra” 3 years into which she apparently packed a lot.

Thanks for letting us know Dhalia. I was in the book with Emma and have been wondering how she’s been getting on. She was a lovely woman who looked so well and healthy.

I was given the book by my bcn when I was about to have my mx & recon.

I was priviliged to spend a couple hours in Emma’s company whilst i was having my treatment in 2007 and I was talking to someone about her only this week unaware that she died so recently.
RIP Emma, may her family and friends find comfort in the knowledge that she was an inspiration to so many ladies going through this ordeal. A beautiful person in every sense.
