hi girls how about the humble potatoe, we must have so many recipes ¡ lets share them!!!
Hi Muffett
The humble potatoe - or tattie as we call them in Scotland. I love them every way especially mashed with loads of butter and milk (sorry weight watchers).
One of my favourite recipies is to par boil the potatoes - cut them into thick slices and spread in layers with a bolognese sauce (like lasagna) then cover with a good layer of cheese sause and pop in the oven. Dinner in one dish, freezes well and tastes delicious.

hi everyone,
tonight we are having corned beef hash. I mash up a load of potatoes, add in, corned beef, some cooked carrots, a leek, garlic, peas, oxo cube, then put mixture into an oven proof dish, grate cheese over the top and cook in the oven for a further 30 mins. Its yummy, a beer goes nice with it too.
take care
anna
My family love corned beef hash, one of my favorites with potatoes is slice them thinley, then slice onions, and layer them in a baking tin with either a little fennel or tarrogon on each layer also seasoning then mix 2 veg stock cubes with water then equal amounts of milk, mix together then pour over the potatoes until just level then pop into oven until nice and brown on top, yummy great hot or even cold as a snack, served hot with salmon is lovely.
