So my bc nurse called me to say my ct scan and bone scan were clear so cancer not spread which is great news so now had referral to oncology for treatment any one know how long that takes

Finally got my app for lumpectomy. 19th march. Got to go for pre op appointment on the 12th, 13th to insert magnetic seed. Just waiting for another app to give me the dye to show ip lymph glands. Consultant said he is removing 2

@tori123 sorry to hear your news. Hopefully they will get treatment plan moving. Try not to focus too much on sizeā¦the tumour can still be stage 2 if no lymph involvement. Have they said anything about lymph nodes looking normal? The tumour might also be a mixture of invasive and dcis. Mine is. Once youve had your surgery you will know more about what its characteristics are. Keep us posted. The waiting is the worst. X

Mine is triple negative, invasive and dcis awaiting to see oncology to discuss chemo etc
Thank you @bluesatsuma, i did get caught up on the size for a while but on searching this forum and a facebook support group i feel a little better. Iām still stressed and emotional but not a constant wreck.
How are you feeling after your results?
Hi @tori123. I feel a bit depressed as now my lymph nodes are imvolved the treatment plan has changed, but its still treatable, just a different route through. Good luck with your results and plan. X

So got my treatment plan today got to have 6 months of chemo and immunotherapy then surgery then radiotherapy didnāt realise it be that long but tumour has double in size already so hopefully start chemo in next couple of weeks

How scary for you @tori123 ! I am so sorry to hear that youāre going through this. I am glad you have managed to calm down a bit as it will be much better for you to reduce the amount of stress you are feeling. Good that it means being fast tracked somewhat. Best of luck with the next steps x

@k.m great that you have a treatment plan finally! I know its not what you were expecting but its the start of getting rid of this sh!t.
Iām still at least a week away from my treatment plan possibly more as the ultrasound today didnāt pick up the suspicious spot in my other breast.

Just an update, I really donāt know if anyoneās still interested but I find writing it in here helps me a litte! My CT scan was clear for mets (yay!) but did pick up an inflamed lymph node. I have had an ultrasounds and biopsy on this (originally scheduled for the 3rd of April but after contacting my consultants secretary it was brought forward) So, I know Iāve said this before, but I should get a treatment plan end of next week.
I hope everyone elses treatments and/or revoveries are going well x

Cheers have you got plan yet I had first chemo didnāt go to plan as had allergic reaction so was in hospital 72 hours but they giving me more chemo Tuesday just hoping Iāll be ok Iām really struggling with the pain from bone marrow injections
That sounds rubbish, are they having to change what they give you next time?
So unfortunately it has spread to my lymph nodes. Iām scheduled for mastectomy on 25th but waiting on oncotype result that may change to chemo first then surgery later. They have started me on tamoxifen because of the wait so I feel like Iām having treatment finally.

Sorry to hear that hope operation goes well. No they are going to try the chemo once more and keep very close eye on me. And Iāve got etc pre meds to take

Hi all I just noticed I have oral thrush I had chemo on Thursday Iāve used mouthwash which I had from chemo nurses for ulcers do I need to ring emergency line or just see how it goes
