There is hope and an end 😀

Good morning fellow warriors,

A good news story for me (58) and I’m sending you all positive thoughts. I’ll cut it as short as possible, diagnosed May 2022 with invasive lobular cancer in left breast 70mm. No symptoms just headaches and a slight dimple under breast. I had Mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy followed up with two years on Abemacilib and Exemestane for ten years. I had diep surgery in March 2024 so have a new boob created from my stomach. I finished my cancer treatment Abemacilib last weekend and had a scan this week. CANCER FREE! Im In remission! After three long at times horrendous years of treatments, numerous hospital visits and stays with cellulitis and other complications it’s over. My advice to anyone starting out on this journey, keep positive, take each day as it comes, don’t look too far ahead regarding treatment, live and love your life, make all the necessary changes to make your life better and squeeze those your love  xx
