This is what you need

Hi everyone
I dont know if you remember from one of my posts , i told you i was going away with my family on a cruise. Well just got back yesterday, it was fantastic. I always worry a bit before i go in case i become ill or break a bone , but i always say a prayer before i go . All i can say is this , when i am at home i think about cancer , treatment , death, my back aches and i,m on oxynorm which makes me tired. But whilst away i didn,t think about my illness, i didn,t have to take oxynorm 4 times a day , only once in the morning, the warm sun , the food , 3 puddings after dinner because they were all so yummy could,t decide ha . The ship and the crew were wonderful. i couldn.t fault it . If you can go on holiday this is the one Ocean village the med.I felt for the first time in years i didn,t have cancer hows that?. Now i,m home hospital tomorrow to see what they are going to do now as my tumours have grown in my lungs. But do you know what instead of crying about it , i,m saving like mad for another cruise next year, love to you all carolm x

Good for you!
I agree a bit of warm weather really makes a difference.
Glad you felt well and was able to partake in lots of yummy puddings.
Take care

So pleased you had a good time Carol.

I’m trying at the moment to do lots of short breaks and always come back feeling uplifted.

On the principle that you can’t take it with you, I’m slowly spending my way through my retirement lump sum on 5 star hotels.

Interesting - we have been wondering about the whole cruise thing. I confess i have been worried it might be full of purple rinses, and that i would be bored out o f my skull, but it sounds like i need to rethink this, and break out some deck shoes!
