Hi, I finished radiotherapy treatment in November following a lumpectomy in my left breast.
A few weekends ago I ended up in A&E with confusion and headaches. They have referred me to the TIA unit (Transient Ischaemic Attack) or mini stroke unit. I’m still waiting for an appointment with them but do feel better.
I keep hearing stories of links with TIAs and radiotherapy. Has anyone encountered this?

Hi @zoew1, so sorry to hear this. It must be such a worrying time and must be so difficult to content with.
I would really recommend reaching out to our nurses if you have any questions. Sometimes it can just be helpful to talk things through. You can reach them on our free helpline 0808 800 6000, and you can call them as many times as you want or need.
I truly hope you are able to get some answers soon, and that you are able to find comfort and support in the meantime.
