time to make my annual January to do list

I love a list its so satisfying when you can tick something off, having said that, every year I write a to do list and yep majority of time its still stuck on the kitchen cupbaord held by a increasingly curling and yellowing piece of sellotape with, if am lucky, by November there might be one tick on it. Guess am better with the list that says put bins out and buy more chocolate! However this year I have excelled myself its only 7th of Jan and so far there are 3 ticks - yeay go me!. Nice to have feeling of control again. As I have previously posted am at the end of my treatment - last radio next weds, and  have not felt in control of anything for along time.

Have also decided if when November comes this year and there are still only the same 3 ticks am not going to stress about it, clearly somethings just didn’t need doing and have found that actually the kitchen doesn’t look too bad, so will manage a bit longer without being painted.

I fully intend to wring every last bit out of my good days - bit like when you have paid a stupid amount for a cup of tea in an over priced but very lovely tearoom and you ensure there is not a drop left in the pot!

So if my list doesn’t get fully ticked it means am out and about doing something far more interesting than sorting out the kitchen cupboards.

And on my not so good days I just wont look in the cupboards! x
