Hi, has anyone experienced scar tissue (at least that is what I am hoping it is!) that feels like a hard lump near their surgery scar?
I had 2 x lumpectomy then a mastectomy ( Nov last year) as they couldn’t get clear margins. I had an immediate implant.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I havent experienced that however I was concerned that the scar areas felt “lumpy” and had a check up with my onco in August this year, he checked me out and was happy that it was nothing to worry about.
Might be worth giving your bcn or oncologist a call just so that they can check it and give you peace of mind xxx
Thank you Ladybowler. I will get it checked out. Luckily managed to speak to my health insurance helpline who were very reassuring. Always seems to be something to worry about! Thanks again for sharing your experience. S xx
